Hi All,

I am new to this camera world, i would like to go for a DSLR camera. Please recommend me which one i can go with and why?
I have gone through Camera labs.com review and test result, but still am not sure to go with Canon EOS 400D, Olympus E400 or Sony Alpha A100. Request your input and finally advice me which one to go.

Hi itsyouth, welcome to the Cameralabs forums!

Before we can recommend a particular model you have to tell us more about what you want. Is there a feature that's particularly important to you, or a specific price you have to meet?

Before even that though I would advise going into a shop and picking up all three for yourself, looking through the viewfinder, pressing the buttons etc. I can guarentee one will look and feel better to you, and ultimately when the quality is basically the same between the three models your suggest, the one which feels best to you is the one to go for.

Let us know what you think after picking them up!

Gordon

Hi itsyouth, I hope you're enjoying your XTi!

We're actually preparing some workshops for beginners, but in the meantime if there's any specific questions you have, perhaps a photo that's gone wrong, or a particular subject you're having difficulty photographing, then just post a question in the Photography tips section of the forum.

In fact have a look in there anyway as you may already find some tips you'd find useful.

Cheers!

Gordon
