Hi Guys

I saw this on a local classified site and was wondering if its worth the asking price. Seems to be a lot of stuff just wanted your guys opinion. This would actually be for my brother.

Regards

It seem like a good kit and would have everything needed to start with. Except I notice it says Nikkor zoom lens. This isn't very precise and there are no pictures of the lens.

Also it only has 1400 shutter releases which is very good. Except the camera to be like new.

That's a Kata 3-n-1 bag the buyer is including -- with the external tripod cradle. I have one myself, and it's the best camera bag I have ever owned bar none. The 18-105VR kit lens is Nikon's best budget walk-around lens, imo.

You could beef this up with a prime, tele-zoom and wide angle and have an outstanding kit for well under $2K.

I'd want to get my eyes and hands on it before I bought it, though.

Thank you guys for the input.

I have been in contact with the seller and he assured me it was in in pristine condition so i went and take a look at it and he was right, it looks very clean no scratch or anything of the sort everything seems brand new.

He fired it up for me and all works great. I just have to wait a couple more days to get my money (taxes) back from uncle Sam. Hopefully he can wait a bit. Anyway i told him if he gets a buyer to go ahead and do the sale if can't wait.
