Hi,

I just bought a Rebel XT, I'm purchasing a CF card and I see there are 'CF Readers', do I need to buy one of these? or can I just buy the card and plug the camera into the computer USB???

I believe most if not all cameras let you download by USB. That's what I use to save messing around with getting the card moved around.

You can get a card reader in addition to that. Depending on the implementation and the card you get, you might get faster transfer from a card reader. But I wouldn't say it was essential.
