I have been looking for CF cards for my Canon 400D. I am a new owner and have only used Kodak cards for my old Pentax 2MP point and shoot.
I see Lexar and Sandisk are pretty popular and sound like they are very reliable. Haven't heard as much about Kingston. From what I've seen the Kingston CF cards are very comparable but a little less expensive.

For Example:

Kingston
2GB CF Elite Pro - 133x - 25MB/sec. read - 20MB/sec. write
limited lifetime warranty. Around $37 US

Sandisk
2GB CF Ultra II - 10MB/sec read - 9MB/sec write
limited lifetime warranty. Around $40 US

2GB CF Extreme III - 20MB/sec read and write - Data recovery software
lifetime warranty Around $45 US

I'm just wondering if anybody has any experience with these Kingston CF Elite pro cards. Basically the same warranty and same or better read/write speeds for less money. I'd like to know if this is an inferior product, before I decide to buy one.

Thanks,
Bruce Carter
