Hi - I need to get a new card for my 40D - Just wondered what your experience was of the SanDisk 16GB Extreme CF Compact Flash Card 60MBS?

I don't shoot so much that I can never tether to my laptop to capacity isn't a real problem (raw and jpeg). The Sandisk 8GB Extreme III Compact Flash CF 30mbs is only £37 give or take. So is the 60mbs ever really needed for portraits/food etc? and what's the difference between the Extreme III and the Extreme CF?

I'd value your thoughts - thanks guys.

The max speed of the 40D is about 10MB/sec:

So just go with the cheaper version.
