Camera Labs

Hi there,

A local store here sells a twinpack of 4gb sdhc cards for only 18 euros (24$?). Is I'm in need of some extra storage for my D80 I thought this might be a good deal. However, the cards only appear to have a writing speed of 4mb's a second. But is this fast enough? I only shoot pictures in extra small jpeg format (2,5MP, think that's about 2mb?) and I don't use the continues shooting.

(You might ask yourself what the hell is he doing with a DSLR if he only shoots in small jpeg but the photos will be printed on normal photo format so I don't need the high resolution )
