Is the Epson P-3000 worth purchase now that the ASUS EEE is out and about? What about verse the Wolverine variant? These items might just phase out if we continue to see products like EEE or similar compact laptops produced.

I have used the Epson P-5000 and in the field you need something pocketable, boots up instantly, fast, rugged, and reliable. The Epson is just that, it has a CF card built right in and it's self-intuitive. A laptop is not an option for me. :?

I've never used any other brand so I can't be to judgmental on those.

Thought I would bump this one up again as I am considering a purchase of the P-6000.

It seems to get good reviews but wondered if any fellow CL ers have any comments good or bad or serious contenders?
