Hi All,

It's looking imminent that I will be visiting Shanghai. I am not one to buy and bring home electronic goods on the cheap but I was thinking a memory card or two wouldn't go amiss.

Do we have any Shanghai locals who are members of the forum? Was curious what the street prices are like over there. I here that in Shanghai they have great Electronics 'markets' so my curiosity is getting the better of me.

Oh and did I mention I'm visiting Shanghai?

Can't wait. My LX3 will be permanantly glued to my hand.

Just a word of caution: watch what brand you buy. I bought a brandless CF card from one of those "special price for you my friend" dudes, and it's slow and unreliable.

Also read up on memorycard speeds and classes. Basically speed is the maximum speed, and the class indicates the guaranteed speed.
