I couldn't fint the topic so I decided to post a new one...
I need to find out which is the best way to clean the outer glass of lenses and the dslr body itself..
can I clean the lenses with the same type of cloth I use for cleaning my sunglasses? It's very soft and doesn't leave any scratches on them, so I figure..?

I am not, sure but i use, wet glasses wipes, which are brilliant and dont affect the coating!

To clean dust off the lens front I use a lenspen. Brush end for general dust, the other end for fingerprints. I'd imagine a good quality glass cleaning cloth is fine too but I haven't used one myself.

With all the above, of course you have to make sure they're clean themselves as any dust on them could risk scratching the lens.

Haven't had need to clean a camera body yet so dunno there.

I forgot to say, usually i will use my blower, for some smaller bits of dust, I give my lenses all a wipe with a wipe, about every month! Anyway, a small bits of dust don't matter, and rarely will you get a piece of dust, big enough on the lens, to make a mark in the end image!
I can't really see why you would want to clean your body, but say if i got some mud/dirt on mine, which i do occasionally, i'll just get a damp cloth, and rub/scrub it off! Maybe even some Fairy Liquid, if it is being stubborn!
