Post subject: Tamrac Expedition - help
PostPosted: Tue Sep 16, 2008 9:33 pm
Hi everyone,

I was wondering if anyone has had any dealings with the Tamrac Expedition bags. I have a crumpler bag but it just goes over one shoulder and isn't really good for long hikes and such, also it cannot hold a tripod which is a problem.

I see the Tamrac Expedition bags can hold tripods and seem to me to be pretty good i just wanted to know if any of you have had any problems or like them or anything? I'm planning on fairly long hikes with my camera + 1-2 lenses and tripod plus sometimes a laptop and maybe some food if it has space.

Any advice here? or recomendations on other bags? I did like the dryzone rover from lowpro but after seeing it in person i didn't really like the look of it it just didn't look right to me ( i know looks don't mean much but i do think the tamrac looks alot nicer silly but you know )

Well thanks for any help given! :)

Shane

No problem, glad to help ;)
You'll surely enjoy it. Looks very cool. I'd like to have a closer look at it.

I have a Crumpler backpack myself, it has a little gap on the side where you can hang your tripod on, the bottom part is for your photography needs and in the top part you can still put some lunch (i can even fit my laptop in there but thats a 12"one) It still isn't very big and to most people it looks just like a normal backpack I suppose.
