 Post subject: LowePro sholder bag
PostPosted: Sun Jul 27, 2008 1:30 pm
I currently have a lowepro slingshot 200 but sometimes I think I may preffer a sholder/messanger style camera bag to make it easier for me to carry.

I have been looking at this style of bag from lowepro but there are quite a few to choose from. Has anyone had any experiances with any of this style bag from lowpro and can recommend one of there models? im looking at the Rezo model.

I will be carrying a sony A100 body, 2 lenses, charger, bits and bobs and some room for lunch

thanks

Hey Toby,

I'm using a Lowepro Stealth Reporter D100AW. It's very good. You can see my user review here.

No room for lunch though, the thing you will notice about shoulder bags is that they generally have little room for anything other than camera gear. Either you carry it somewhere else or it goes in next to the camera.

Hi Toby

I own a Lowepro Nova 4AW and as a carrying device its superb, strong, waterproof (with the all weather cover). But as a shoulder bag, it's incredibly uncomfortable to carry for long periods.

The bag is actually rather wide making it stick out and get in the way by banging in to people in crowded areas. Also it makes your shoulders really ache and become fatigued quickly. You find yourself constantly throwing it all around your body trying to get comfy.

As a consequence I'm buying a back pack and the Nova will be relegated to short journeys and infrequent use only.

Hope that helps

Cheeeoooo :D

I have a Nova 3 AW and I only use it for storage in the house or car, I find it too bulky for day to day use.
