I'm growing a small collection, and could use something to hold mine in. So far I have a polarising, UV, one ND and an assortment of closeup lenses. The polarising and UV filters came in a hard square plastic box which takes up too much space for me. The ND came in a small round plastic box, which is ok by itself. The closeup lenses came in foam which isn't suitable for carrying around. So are there cases or carriers or something dedicated to holding a selection of filters and similar?

At the moment I travel light, only packing the polariser and ND when going out. The UV doesn't seem to do much except add vignetting when at wide angle, so it gets left at home. The close up lenses I've only used at home so far.

The most compact way to carry filters, provided they are the same size, is to screw them together and cover them with a lens cap over each end. The trade off is of course that it is slightly more work to get the one you want to use.

I have a set of 4 Tiffen filters in a Tiffen carrying bag/pouch which is very nice.

Try searching for filter bags around camera shops like B&H.
