Been wondering for years why the vast majority of DSLR users roll with a single neck strap instead of some kind of harness system? Is there something you all don't like about it... attachments? I'm no Ornitholigist, but one reason i use a rucksack is to let the D-rings and harness do the work Image....Insert DSLR

If you always wore your rucksack, it's a nice option, but one I haven't tried. Thing is, the camera bouncing on your tummy ain't great whether it's on a single strap or a harness.

Yes there is bounce but not so much the way i've adjusted the length and positioned those straps so field glasses or camera rests on the sternum. The overall pitch n yaw are greatly reduced and of course a DSLR/lens needs to be counter weighted by the ruck with more than just a sanga and can of lager 8)
