Hi everyone, I just got myself a D90 with the kit lens and am now looking for a bag. Am not sure whether D90 with 18-105 kit lens will fit into the main compartment of the muffin top 3000? Any ideas anyone?

Or should I get Muffin Top 4000? I do not have any extra lenses. Thanks in advance.

I have the 2500 and my 400D with 24-105L attached just fits lengthwise. I just measured it to be 18cm long.

I estimate the internal length of the 3000 to be 20cm.

Hope this helps.... and welcome to Camera Labs

I've got the Pretty Boy Maxi (or something like that) which is similar to the muffin top (except for the designs). Not quite sure about the size of the 3000 but one thing I can say is, that all of them DEFINITELY look smaller than you'd imagine them to be! the 3000 will probably be fine for a D90 with the kit lens, but as soon as you want to add another lens, you're screwed.

As Nostrum said, if you have other lenses you want to carry the larger sizes could be considered.

I also have the 5500 version which fits (nearly) all my stuff in.

Image

Shown here 400D with EF 24-105 attached, EF 70-200 f/4 (far right), EF-S 10-22 (front right) with EF 50mm underneath 10-22.

Mini tripod (far left)
Polarizer, cards and cleaning stuff in front pocket.

Works pretty well unless I need to take the lens hoods.. I'm still working on a plan for that one.

Good hunting
