I'm looking for a messenger style bag to hold my cameragear such as a messenger bag or one of thoes traditional shoulder bags so i can ware it across my bod from shoulder to hip.

I'm looking for a bag to hold a body, ~2 lenses, some bits and peices and additional space. The size of my lowepro slingshot 200 bag is perfect for reference but im not happy with the style of this bag.


What bag's and make do you recommend for me? I have read a little bit about these prittyboy and crumpler bags and they seem like the sort of thing im after.

btw I am a UK resident.

thanks for that, I have been looking at some of there bags they look just the sort of thing im after. They have some weird names and Info on each of the bags though... What is a 1000d chicken? lol

Have you looked at the LowePro Classified series - something like a 160/200?

Hi Toby, I agree, Crumpler's marketing and branding does them no favours, but the products are really good...

I think the 1000d ChickenTex would be the equivalent of 1000 denier balistic nylon which would be about the same as other camera bags.

I recommend the Lowepro Stealth Reporter D100aw that I'm using now. It will take 2 lenses and a body + battery grip nicely but anything more is a squeeze. I've got 3 lenses now and am looking at the 6/7 million dollar home actually.
