Oh it is! (By the way: Our equipment looks pretty similar - 5D3, 580EX II, 24-105, 100mm 2.8L Macro, 100-400mm, Velbon Sherpa 600R - I just have the Sigma 12-24mm instead of the Canon 17-40mm and only a 500D instead of a 7D. Finally I'm missing some prime lenses.)

Yeah, indeed we do have pretty similar equipment, apart from some primes
How do you like the grip for the 5D3? Is it original or third party?

That's the original grip. For cheaper bodies I'd buy a third party one but on a 5D3 I wanted the original grip.

By the way: You can take off the shoulder pad of that strap and then (depending on how thin you are) the camera can be carried like a belt. Once I removed the grip, used my small 28-105mm lens instead of the 24-105mm and then I had a quite small set. I really like that strap!

There are two connectors on the strap so I can hook them up with two bodies...the D3100 does not look so compact with the lense and flash mounted...
