Hi Guys.
Check out this new monitor.

For those of us who works in Adobe RGB and not in sRGB, this is really interesting.
http://www.eizo.com/products/graphics/cg241w/index.asp

It's a problem not to see all the color(esp. the red specter) when you process photos for prof. print/press because most of the monitors are made for sRGB.

I think this is my next monitor. I just need some more Northern light guests, so I can earn some more money :)

Hey Neptun, long time no speak! Hope you're still getting some lovely Northern Lights photos up in Norway!

Those Eizo monitos sure are nice. I use a CG210 which is superb for sRGB - the Adobe RGB models were just too pricey when I got mine, but they look wonderful and I notice the prices have also fallen.

If you get one, please tell us about it in the User Reviews section!

Gordon

I'll do that. The price is not so bad,17-18k NOK. well, maybe the kids have to be without food for some week :) the northern light season is here and I can't help looking up in the skies all night long ....another 8 months with bad neck

Show us some of your latest shots! The Technical section is probably best...

I might upgrade to
this model http://www.eizo.se/eizo/smpage.fwx?smlanguage=SWE&page=189&PRODUCT=1833

It seems like a very good value for the money monitor as i do have a tight budget.
PS. Sorry for the Swedish site.Ds

Hi Egge,

May I offer you a warm welcome to the CameraLabs forums.

For readers whose Swedish isn't up to scratch the English language webpage for the Eizo FlexScan S2231W might be easier to understand.

Eizo monitors usually get good reviews but I can't find a review for this one. Do you have any links to English language reviews?

Tip: Use the .. syntax (described here) if you want to post "readable" hyperlinks.

Bob.

No I haven't found any reviews but the price in Sweden is about 550 € so it is just a tad more expensive than a medium priced 24" monitor. That it states that it has 92% of the adobe colour space makes it very interesting imho.
