) which, at today's exchange rate, is $1740. While certain types of monitor attract high import duties it's for sure that those duties don't amount to a whopping 56%. It seems that not only do the HP guys have "superman" eyesight but they also have a contemptuous view about their customers here on this side of the Atlantic.
I had put this monitor on my shortlist against the time I needed to replace my current one but even at the current street price of £1060 before tax the monitor could sport a trillion colours and I still wouldn't be interested. What a U.K. rip off!
