I recently saw a sample of a photo mounted or printed on some kind of light but extremely tough board of some material I did not recognise (it came with a UK Photography mag but I have since lost it!!!!). I plan to give a few large prints to some friends for Christmas and instead of just giving them a rolled up print, I wanted to either have them printed on some special kind of board or print them myself (A3+) and mount them myself, for that extra personal touch.

To be realistic, I guess I will probably have to have them printed with some company, however I am interested to know if anyone knows of some way to mount self-printed photos on some kind of hard backing?
