Ok at my uncles computer shop he has a massive HP Colour Laserjet 8550, now if lob in fresh toner and the laser photo paper will the results be better than on a inkjet printer under £200?

Just wondering because the printers at my school suck ass and can't print very good, laser or inkjet ones.

Anyone had experience with this printer (Oh its A3 aswell ) or can find out how good it is

Hi Daniel, lasers are great for solid colours, text, logos and graphics, but not so great for continuous tone subjects like photos. I think the output from a cheap inkjet will beat even a pricey colour laser when it comes to reproducing a colour photo, but that's just my own opinion...

I always thought that laser printers were better at photos if you paid enough for it.

Well, when I go over to photography on Wed, they have an A3 InkJet, so i'll se how it works.
