Hello, I have the all in one C4480 HP Photosmart printer. I finally got myself proper photo ink(HP 99) and tri-color ink(HP 75) for my cheap dual cartridge printer.

The entire HP 75 Tri-color cartridge was completely depleted after 44 prints(4X6). The HP 99 photo ink went down to 2/3 full from brand new. I used the best quality mode. Is it normal to finish an ink cartridge that fast?? I tried to email HP email support but they have technical issues, so I'm here to see if anyone can shine some lights. Since this is the first time I actually bother to print some pictures.

That sounds completely normal, i remeber having an old Epson Stylus, which only did about 10 photos before starting to run out of colour ink, no joke!
Althogh you might want to have a look at the spec sheet on the manfacteurs website to see what they thing you should get out of the printer!
