Canon has updated the Pro series printers Pro9000 and Pro9500. Apart from that the MP868, MX328 and Canon lide 700F was also released. Here is the spec.

Very interesting - I was just about to jump at a Pro9000 when I saw your post about the Mark II being released - I suppose I'm going to wait a few weeks/months until this one is available :)

I'm a bit uncertain wether or not I should get the 9500 instead - it's quite a bit more expensive but the pigment print technology is said to last a lot longer than the dye ink technology of the Pro9000... anyone has experience with this?

Also, what will be the aproximate cost of a print (let's say A4 for instance) - or in other words, how many pictures will a set of cartridges outlast, before they need replacement? :?

I have just ordered the PRO 9500 II. It was actually cheaper in France than the UK. It seems with the growing strength of the pound, bargains are going to be harder to find, especially if Canon take their time to adjust the prices downward.

I will let you know what I think of it once I have printed a few pics....Delivery estimate between 12th - 24th June though, so a while to go before I try it...
