Hey,
I have an interesting question for you guys.

I have made an action in CS3 that add a frame (add canvas size) and a text (my copyright).

Works perfect if every image is the same size. And that is the size of the image used when making the actions.

I would, however, want an action that take the imagesize in consideration when adding the text etc.
I've just noticed that the canvas-thing have "percentage" so i will use that to add 2% width and 3% height.

But how do i do that with my text?

I want an action that adds a text with a fontsize depending on the dimensions of the image.

I also want the text to be located somewhere on the image based on the dimensions.

Do you understand what i'm trying to achieve?

Thanks,
K

Why dont you just make a brush if you want to make a signature? Or do you only want to make frames? I have no idea how to work with the percentage maybe you just need to find some formula that you can work out...and then apply it...

Well, i wouldnt have any problems figuring a formula out.
But i do not know if it's possible to use scripts in PS actions, or if there is any other way to "program" (maybe there is a Photoshop-API ?) such a thing as "fontsize depending on dimensions" and "position depending on dimensions".

I am however curious about what you meant by the brush thing. How would i be able to achieve what i'm looking for with your brush-technique?
