Hi,

I have a samsung digital camera.... Borrowed it from my friend... as i did not bring my own nikon digi cam.... :(
I'm interested to make my hands with some of the techs like HDR, PP....etc. :) One of my friend bought a Canon G9 recently.
I found that his cam was not supplied with any of the software (supplied by manufacture) listed in the stick thread of this forum. :(

so i would like to hear which would be better software of the freely supplied as i could not spend some bucks for the software :(

Any help is appreciated.....!!!!!! :)

What are you looking for, image editing software, or photo organizer?
If you need a good photo organizer with a few very simple editing tools, try googles Picasa.
http://picasa.google.com/

If you're looking for a image editor, for free, try GIMP
http://www.gimp.org/
It's quite powerful.

If you're running Windows, you can take a look at Paint.NET. It's a pretty good package.

If you want to get into HDR work, then you can download a free trial of Photomatix from HDRSoft.
