I took an awesome HDR photo the other day, processed it using Photomatic, saved it as a TIFF (16bit) and then did further editing in photoshop CS3.

I can't save the file as jpeg though, and whenever i use a TIFF-JPEG converter, i totally lose all the colour and quality of the image (a certain degree would be understandable, but this just looks washed out).

The TIFF is around 50mb.... What do i do?!

with CS3 you have got to change the 16 bit to 8 bit then save as a jpg without loss of colour.......

go to image>mode>8bits per channel......

then save as a jpg
