The GIMP is the only free one. I personally don't like it but it's free so you can't complain right? :)

I assume you're on a Windows PC but if you have a Mac, then check out Pixelmator (http://www.pixelmator.com/) which is absolutely fab for the money (about $60)

Yeah ive heard of people using cracked photoshop. does it work ok? as if you bought it? Just curious :)

I haven't tried it recently, but there's also Paint.NET for free. Windows only.

GIMP is a very powerful yet often under rated free image editing software. Does most of the stuff the more complex software does. Free too 8)

No we don't. One of our moderators Bob Andersson made it quite clear in a post several months ago that such topics will not be allowed!!

Of course, smiles probably didn't see that post, but perhaps it would be an idea for him to amend his post accordingly. 8)
