Why not get this book from the library?

The Adobe PhotoShop LightRoom Book: The Complete Guide for Photographers. Author Martin evening.

If you buy it he has an update to V1.1 as a PDF sentimental. You have to send the ISBN in first to get the link.

OK so.. I just bought lightroom for my post processing (I just barely scratched the surface of it and love it so far). Here is the kicker I just got a macbook for Christmas. (and I must say once you go MaC you wont go back, i love this thing!)..
I was looking at software and ran into Aperature. Anyone ever use it?
It has mixed reviews. I just dont want to install LR to yank it off for Aperature later...

Hi CovertOne, there's an older thread about Aperture here...

Aperture is meant to be the Apple Mac equivalent to Windows Adobe LightRoom.

I have been using the trial version of Lightroom for the last couple of days and I really like it. I want to buy it, so can someone recommend where and which version? The one I have been using is 1.3, is there others?

Thanks

1.3 is the latest and Adobe is selling a discounted classroom copy for half the price (at least in Germany).
