Hi guys,

Does anyone know any tips/blogs which provide good tutorials to use Photoshop CS6, I've been using Lightroom 3 for about 2 years and I've decided to force myself to learn to use Photoshop.

I don't really know where to start. Even just bringing up a catalogue of images in a timeline below seems difficult?

Help!!

cheers,
Richie

Hi Richie, there's loads of good tutorials on youtube, and also Adobe's own site as I recall.

The book which transformed my understanding and use of PS was "Adobe Photoshop CS6 for Photographers" by Martin Evening.

First, if I may, I would suggest you narrow things down. Specifically, what does Lightroom not do that you would like Photoshop to do? Start there.

As to your specific question, if I'm understanding you correctly, you're having trouble because, as I've said before, Photoshop isn't meant as a bulk processing app. So if your goal is to process "a catalogue of images in a timeline", you should continue to use Lightroom for that.

I would suggest you to follow some video tutorial in YouTube. These tutorials are really fruitful for the photoshop user who wants to work in PS6
