I did a quick scan of the forum and never noticed a post on this although I may well have missed it if one was there.

Has anyone ever used the image stacking software available for macro photography and if so what opinions do you have on it and what programs would you suggest.

I found one called Zerene Stacker which seems to have decent reviews but I'm looking for other opinions on it as well. Here is a olink to Zerene stacker...

http://zerenesystems.com/stacker/

Any suggestions or opinions would be greatly appreciated.

Haven't tried macro `stacking` but there are a couple of free progs you can download (can't remember the names)
Zerene is highly regarded & believe it's well worth the money though.
Brian Valentine (Lord V) uses it to great effect. http://www.flickr.com/people/lordv/

thanks carlos.. Ive been playing with it for a week now and it definately has great potential and does an awesome job. I just need to get out and find some subjects.. it is getting cold here now so not much to shoot and I cant get into shooting boring stuff just for the sake of playing with software. But ya.. it is an awesome program and I would definately recommend it.
