First off I didn't know where else to put this so I thought it would fit here. I want to start doing videos of random things that I do on my computer (editing, gaming, etc) and commentate on them and put them on youtube for friends or to post here if I find something cool to show you on an edit style.

I am looking for a free and easy program... Suggestions? I don't even know where to begin with this so bare with me!

fraps spring to mind, but it isn't free. Quite affordable though if you try and like the demo.

Fraps works pretty well for games, Camtasia works very well for postprocessing howto's etc.
