FixerBundle consists of 4 plugins:
1, FocusFixer
2, NoiseFixer
3, ShadowFixer
4, TrueBlur
FocusFixer is what drew me to the site. This claims to be able to recover out of focus areas. In a quick play with slightly OOF areas, I haven't managed to achieve this. Possibly because my photos tend to be taken at high ISO, it does so some kind of sharpening or local contrast adjustment, but it also amplifies noise. I'll play with it some more, but it seems too good to be true at the moment.
NoiseFixer is yet another noise reduction tool. I tried a quick play with settings of 100% colour noise reduction and 10% luminance noise reduction. On one test sample it seems to perform on a par with Neat image.
ShadowFixer is as you can guess a shadow recovery tool. Comparing it directly with the Shadow tool in Photoshop Elements 7, they do work differently. PSE7 seems to maintain more colour in the shadow than ShadowFixer, which has an extra radius option not in PSE7. I haven't figured out how best to use that yet as turning it up just seems to introduce harsh contrast in detail and haloing on bigger changes.
TrueBlur I haven't touched yet. It appears to be a combined blurring and noise adding tool.
I've yet to play about with it some more, but so far it doesn't look like it provides much beyond what I already have.
