Got round to installing and playing with it this morning. Not sure, but it feels a bit more responsive than I remember the earlier beta did. Stuffing in a 50D ISO12800 shot I took in the past and fiddled with the settings, I thought it looked great. That was until I compared it to the camera jpeg and the difference wasn't really significant. So while it seems to have caught up with other raw converters now, it's still nothing special. Haven't put in low ISO shots yet as that's much less critical.
That upgrades my opinion of Lightroom from dislike to neutral. I'd still much rather have PS, and take this as a positive sign of improvements they've made in general.
