Hi everyone

This is driving me nuts. I have my 50D set to capture in SRGB. I edit in Lightroom which I understand uses the Adobe RGB 1998 colourspace. I then export from Lightroom as SRGB and then when I open the image in any image viewer, the image is over saturated by about 10-20%. Do you have any idea what is going wrong?

I also use CS3 set to use an SRGB colourspace but have to have the 'Proof Setup' set to 'Monitor RGB' to ensure what I am seeing is what I will see when saved out of CS3 using the SRGB colourspace.

Again do you have any idea what is going wrong? Is there anyway to make CS default to always use 'Proof Setup'? I am using the SRGB colourspace throughout the workflow, but the saved results are not the same as what I see in the editing software.

Thanks

Any replies would be welcome.

Way to go!!! I fixed my problem!!! I had an old Monitor Colour Management profile installed. As soon as I set SRGB as the default my colours are spot on in several editing suites...
