Hello, just wondering if anyone else experience this. It seems that when I upload pictures to the internet, facebook or flickr...or any other photo hosting sites, the uploaded pictures get brightened quite a bit. I work with a macbook pro. I use included RAW converter(Nikon ViewNX) that came with my camera, and then import the jpegs into iPhoto. On my display, all color and brightness seems consistent. But when they're uploaded, they are all much brighter.

Any suggestions??

Hi soundtweakers,

I've moved this thread over to the Imaging and Video Editing Software section.

Photo-editing software, such as Photoshop, automatically adjusts its output to suit your display whatever colour profile you use for editing but most browsers don't do this out of the box. Make sure your photos are converted to the sRGB colour space before you upload them.

If that's not the answer then I'm fresh out of ideas. Sorry.
