Hi there, you may know this website but lately I am so happy with that.
It gives up to 5 GB free space:

https://www.getdropbox.com/referrals/NTgwNDYzMjk

I had HD failed years ago and I am a bit paranoid for backing up...
It's not much but for most important staff is OK for me...

look at that and if you like it get it. If register through the link I sent here you earn 250 MB extra.

I am using for first time such way of storing my staff and it's very exiting...

You've posted a link to the Canon EF 55-200mm IS. Was that the intention?

Everyone says about HDs dying, but in my experience of computers (10 years or so) none of mine or my family hard drives have failed
so at the moment i am just of a HD, but when the fatal moment comes, i will probably think more about things like this.
thanks for sharing your thoughts. i might just use it anyway.

Well, lucky guys :-)
I had that fatal story with my HD but though only few files were lost
I am spreading my files on 2 external and on tahatt Dropbox.

However, I use DropBox not only to store (It can store all my files) but
as a very easy tool to send large files.

Look at it.

Wow. Thanks so much for the link!

I just set this up not for online storage, but for another purpose it has.

I set my Mom and Dad up with synced folders so whenever I want to transfer my pictures to them I just copy and paste to the folder and POOF! Its on their computers. No scaling down to email attachments, no USB drives....

I'm pretty tech savvy, so it's not often that I'm excited and amazed by things, but this is one of them.

Windows Live SkyDrive gives you 25 gigabytes (upped from 5 gigabytes) absolutely free! All you need is an e-mail address.

With anything that's free, you always need to ask the million dollar question. How is it going to sustain itself? This is especially pertinent when it comes to these storage solutions.

You want to know that what you've stored isn't going to disappear overnight, right?
