I just finish reformating my laptop and the problem is that i have lost my canon CD containing softwares for my 400D.

I try to find it at the website but there they only offer 'updater' and not the real software. Can anyone help me in this?

Hi abuza8nuqina,

As you rightly point out the software updaters from the Canon web-site only work if they find the earlier versions on the PC. You need an original installation CD so why not get in touch with Canon and see what their response is. They might make a nominal charge, of course.

Bob.

Or you could give some other RAW editors a quick try? Rawtherapee is free and it works quite well considering the price.

i like canon's digital photo professional because it can batch resize pictures. Other than that process, i just use Lightroom and Photoshop.

Do anyone knows what other software that can batch resize?

Hi abuza8nuqina,

Glad you've got it sorted. I've edited your post slightly to remove the reference to a now deleted post.

Bob.
