Hello everyone!
I took some pictures of some birds on the zoo last Sunday, but, as our DSLR lenses are larger than P&S, it showed some of the fences unfocused in the front that I really would like to remove. The problem is: I have no idea of how to do it... nor even how to start....
This is one sample:

Maybe it will be easier to see in the full version:

Can anyone give me an light here? Tell me what should I do to get this image like there was no fence between me and the bird? Or link me up to some tutorial or something?
Thanks in advance  [/url]

I think you would have to mask out those areas to return the contrast to normal and remove the fuzzyness which would be extremely tedious and you probably will not get it to looking like normal this way.

Probably best to avoid these situations in the first place.

That's what I was afraid to hear (read)
Well, thank you grahamnp!
No problem! Next time I'll take my cutting-pliers with me... no fences will ruin my photos :D

You probably already know this but just in case, use your largest aperture and move the lens as close to the fence as possible.
