 Post subject: Books on postprocessing
PostPosted: Tue Dec 02, 2008 3:33 pm
Hello all!

I don´t know if this is the right thread to post this topic (if not: I think Bob will move it for sure  ), I am searching for a good book about postprocessing. It should be independent of any software and very practical. In the sense of "if you want that, do this" and some background info isn´t bad either (eg. why is unsharp masking better then normal sharpening etc.).

Does some of you know such a book? Thanks in advance for your replies!

P.S. Would a literature-thread about books about hobby be something?

Darn right.

Actually, as this is a question about software and how to use it I think it belongs more naturally in that section so I have moved it. Hope that's OK.

I can't help with your question, unfortunately. My next purchase will be Adobe Photoshop CS4 for Photographers when it's released. The reason I've gone software specific is that not only will it help me learn my way around the changes since CS2 but I find that being able to follow through and actually see what the various techniques accomplish is makes the learning process quicker.

Bob.
