I created a Collection of my best holiday pics in Elements 4, then used the "Create" function to make a slide show from them.

To burn them to a CD, I selected the .wmv file type instead of pdf (after looking at the comments in the user guide. It all went well (3 hours later!) but when I try to run the slide show from the CD, I get an error message saying unable to disply wmv file types.

Any suggestions or comments?

Should I have used pdf instead of wmv? Do I need a different type of media card?

BTW Thomas, I have not forgotten Sigma 30mm pics, hope to put some up this weekend.

You also asked for anyone who has a Samsung NV10. We have one we carry around when we just want a camera for the shirt pocket, so will have some of them and some comments to post in the next week or so.

Hi Bernard, I presume you're trying to play the CD from your PC right? If it went to plan, it would have created a Windows Media Video, WMV file, which should play back fine in Windows media Player.

Maybe the software created a WMV file using the latest WMV version... is your Windows Media Player a recent version? If not, it could be worth updating it. It's also worth trying it on another PC to help troubleshooting...
