I would like to purchase my first (heavy duty?) tripod for my old Nikon FA-SLR camera. I want to start photographing flowers and start using my micro (macro) lens(es).

Question: I read that a great tripod is the Benbo with the 15 inch horizontal head attachment. Personally, I am interested in purchasing a used one that's in very good condition. Price ranges?

Anyway, what other tripods do you suggest? Also, type of ballhead? Thank you in advance...

PS: This is my first post and I am so glad I found this site!!!!
