My school has one of these and I really like it.
I've been planning to buy one of these for a while, so I went shopping for it today.

The first shop that had it said it costs SGD$60.
Another shop said it costs $30.
Yet another shop..said that Nikon does not make tripods - it outsources the construction of these and give them for free with some camera kits.
That statement puzzled me as my school does not purchase Nikon products...but maybe thats why its not listed on the Nikon website.

I'm just curious, before I go look around again for yet lower prices.

Nevertheless, its an excellent tripod for its price(I think..i've never handled anything much better).
