i'm going to buy a new tripod, since the old one just broke :(
i was thinking about something heavy and steady...

are you satisfied with yours? if yes tell me what you got

i like these three:

http://www.adorama.com/GTIK124.html

http://www.adorama.com/SU7500P.html

http://www.adorama.com/SU3300.html

it seems that the last one is the best, it has the largest load capacity an it's maximum height is 64.4"

but i don't know, maybe something totally different?

I have the Manfrotto 055xpro legs and 808RC4 head. The base is a beast, very stable, good build quality, head is just awesome I love everything about the 808RC4. Here is a link to BHPhoto showing it.

The only down side to this setup is the weight. Kinda heavy at just over 8lbs.

I am extremely please with my Berlebach 2042 Report. Super steady and zero vibration (wood legs). Simple design, Made in Germany, quality. I am also going to buy a monopod they make.
Check it out at http://www.berlebach.de/?bereich=details&id=302

Check out my post below.. I would say save an extra $50-$100 and buy a better tripod with higher build quality and more functionallity.. Giottos or Manfrotto would be the best choices based on my research.. and I'm kind of a freak when it comes to that stuff.
