 Post subject: 1st tripod i buy

Hello all !
How are u ?
What is the difference between 190CXPRO4 and 190CXPRO3 ?
Does anyone have any advices ?
I want soon to buy a tripod and not really sure what to buy .....
Maximum i want to pay is 330 $
and maybe a suggestion for the head ?

Hi,

The most obvious difference is in the number of sections in each leg. Usually more sections means the tripod is smaller when folded but may be a little less rigid. Here are the Manfrotto pages for the 190CXPRO3 and 190CXPRO4.

Do u have a tripod ? Which one ?
What would u recommend me to buy: tripod + head ? maximum 600 or 700 $
?????
Manfrotto ? Hakuba ? Acratech ? Gitzo ?
there are so many choices and oppinions cause im confused which one to choose ?!!...!?!!

Well, I have a 3kg Manfrotto monster which virtually never gets used. I'm still agonising over how much to compromise stiffness over weight in my search for a tripod light enough that I won't leave it behind when out walking. The trouble is that carbon fibre tends to rule but that stuff is expensive and then there's the head!

Did you see my post Tripod Group Test? The "Jessops" item won't apply to you (Jessops is a UK store) but the other tripods on test might give you some ideas.
