Got experience with the Acratech GP Ballhead or know of a good review?
I like how it converts to a pan configuration by simply mounting upside down . You can see the level, set up and, pan with aplomb.

EDIT- positive review here. I like the design and convertible feature. Pretty slick.

Acratech GP Ball Mount. Tripod would go toward the bottom in each snap.

Upper- ball connected to camera. Pretty normal.

Lower- ball connected to tirpod. You can just see the bubble level off to
the left below the worlds best mounted P90. Tripod mount can be off level but rotary
portion of ball mount is level and ready to pan.

Mount holds 9 patents and, is made just over the hill in Pamona, CA.
Funny, that looks like a D800e mounting plate under the P90.

I like it.
