Hi Folk

Just got the OLYMPUS E30 14-54 MKII and Macro 50MM F2.
Camera system probably weighs less than 1.5kg
Looking for a new tripod.

Heres what I would like from a tripod...

* Compact and easy to carry around.
* solid strong stabilitly
* One that can fold down really low for macro shots.
* With Ball head (bought separate)

Dont want to spend anymore then £150 for tripod and head.

Ive looked at Giottos Traveller model 9340b.Its light and compact but Ive heard it isnt that solid and doesnt have good stability.

I think stability is whats more important to me than weight.

Any ideas.

You'll want to look for a tripod with a reversable middle column (so you can hang your camera upside down. You'll also want a ballhead that can tilt your camera 90 degrees so you can shoot from above the subject. Manfrotto has some cheap sturdy tripods, but not everyone is as happy with them as general tripods...

I take pictures so quickly, my highschool was "Continuous High".
