Here's my little project for tonight.

A "Bottle Pod".

This can fit on any pop (soda, Coke) bottle whether 20oz or 2 liter as well as a host of others that are the same size.

I just drilled a hole one size smaller than 1/4" and put a 1/4" bolt through it with a washer on each side of the cap.

I wouldn't put my D40 on it, but it's handy for the smaller point and shoot cameras.

Although, I can only see it work with compact cameras as I don't think it would hold up an SLR too well... :wink:

That's a really cool idea, I think you could make it work if you got like a 4L or like a water cooler bottle the only problem with a 2L is that it's too narrow so if you could find something wider. I wonder if you used one of thoes 2L bottles with it being rectangle I'm going to try this.
