This is what my camera was doing whilst I was searching the net and found this site.
144 * 25sec exposures @ f3/5 ISO400
Its the first one I have done for a while and is a composite of 144 25sec exposures and 1 dark frame exposure. It was composited using the startrails free software. I think the clouds add an interesting dimension. I am going to try this again tonight but with some foreground interest.
I have two questions:
1. Does anyone else use this software? If not what do they use to composite images together for startrails.
2. I had a go at stacking this with another piece of software - deep sky stacker to resolve more detail but it did not work that well - has anyone else use this software?
As I mentioned in my intro I am keen to expand my photographic expertise in this area.
Thought and comments appreciated in particular to the settings used.
