I figured I may as well post up couple of my old experiments. Like Paukl, I used a flashlight outside but I was just going crazy rather than making shapes.

these pictures are awesome. in the first set, how did you manage to stay out of the photos yourself?

does anyone know where to find a how to write up for this technique?

this is driving me crazy. haha. how are you guys taking these shots without yourself leaving a blur while running around making these shapes? or am i thinking your doing this completely wrong. please enlighten me. :-)

These are long exposures. As long as you wear something dark and keep moving, the light from you would be small compared to the rest of the scene making you practically invisible.

finally got a chance to mess around with this! here are a couple:

taken with my 18-55 kit lens, cable release, shutter speed on bulb with a small led flashlight with a sock over it to make it less bright
