Hi everyone,
Just last week I was in Arizona on a business trip. While I was out there, Dean of Starizona shipped me the new Hyperstar lens for the C11, and also one of the electronic focusers for the FeatherTouch focuser.
Last night was the first clear (and Moonless!!!!) night since I got back and I managed to get this one as a first light test shot for the new system:
Noel Carboni has just processed this data - it is a single frame from the Hyperstar/SXVF-M25C combination, and it's only 56 minutes total imaging time!!!! This would be equivalent to nearly 6-hours imaging time using the Sky 90. The Hyperstar is staying on the C11 for quite some time to come
Greg
