 Post subject: Planet Creep...Scary..

I was experimenting with Mars last night, digital zoomed into x 115 with f/8 aperture and shutter speed of 5 seconds.

The live view showed the planet creeping across the Display. At first I thought my tripod was loose, but I then realised it was due to rotation of the earth!!

I was shocked, I never realised it moved so quickly...

it doesn't really, mars is VERY far away, and the earth is spining like WOW fast and it makes mars look like its moving quickly, its just the distance between the observer and object.
